Q- Does the initial appointment include treatment?

A- Yes! The initial appointment includes a consultation, foot health checks and treatment of any foot issues, no need to make two appointments.

Q- What is the difference between a foot health practitioner ( FHP)  and a podiatrist/ chiropodist?

A -Foot Health Practitioners provide general and routine foot care, where as podiatrists have more extensive medical training to diagnose and manage complex foot and lower limb problems. 

Q- What treatment do you offer for verrucas?

A- Verrutop is the treatment used in clinic which requires between 4-6 treatments with up to 90% success rate. As with all verruca treatment, success cannot be gauranteed. Treatment is £40 per session following initial appointment. Please book an initial appointment and state 'verruca' in the booking notes.

Q-Do you offer diabetic foot care?

A- Yes! I combine my expertise as a Foot Health Practitioner with extensive nursing knowledge to provide safe, professional foot care for people with diabetes. I also recognise when specialist podiatry or medical referral is needed, ensuring you receive the most appropriate care.

Q- What is your cancellation policy?

A- Please allow at least 24 hours to cancel or move an appointment. Cancellations made outside of this window will be charged at full price. 

Q: Can I use my health insurance to pay for my Foot Health Practitioner appointment?

A: Some private health insurance policies may cover Foot Health Practitioner treatments, but cover varies between providers and individual policies. Please check with your health insurance provider before booking your appointment to confirm whether your treatment is eligible for reimbursement.
